About the role

Join ASDA’s Procurement Transformation Journey as a Lead Procurement Manager – Technology. You will manage a significant technology spend portfolio and partner with stakeholders across one of the UK’s most recognised retail brands, driving value and supporting innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies across the technology portfolio.
• Lead complex sourcing projects, tenders and high‑value commercial negotiations.
• Ensure robust commercial governance, risk management and supplier compliance.
• Analyse spend, market trends and supplier capabilities to inform decisions.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to align commercial solutions with business priorities.
• Play a key role in ASDA’s Procurement Transformation Programme.

Required profile

• Significant experience in procurement, strategic sourcing or category management.
• Strong commercial negotiation and contract management expertise.
• Experience managing complex, high‑value supplier relationships.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders within large organisations.
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical capability.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced transformation environment.
