Lead Quality Engineer

About the role

The Lead Quality Engineer will join the Chief Security Office IAM Lab, focusing on SailPoint's identity protection platform and SailPoint IdentityIQ. Working in a hybrid model, the role combines hands‑on automation with strategic leadership to ensure cloud IAM products are secure, compliant and production‑ready.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain automation frameworks for SailPoint IAM platforms.
• Own and continuously improve regression test suites and platform health checks.
• Define and implement an automation‑first quality engineering strategy for IAM.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and verify deployment readiness.
• Develop non‑functional validation to ensure platform resilience and performance.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deliver secure, high‑quality IAM solutions.
• Mentor and lead a team of Quality Engineers, progressing towards capability leadership.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on experience with SailPoint IAM platforms, especially IdentityIQ.
• Strong background in automation‑driven quality engineering.
• Ability to take immediate lead testing responsibilities and meet end‑of‑year goals.
• Experience ensuring cloud‑based IAM solutions are fit for purpose and compliant.
• Willingness to transition from hands‑on work to broader leadership and capability ownership.
