Lead SEND Administrator – Hillingdon (ASAP)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Lead SEND Administrator to join the Local Authority SEND team in Hillingdon. The role involves overseeing the administration of Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments (EHCNAs) and Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) while ensuring statutory compliance. You will work closely with schools, families and multi‑agency professionals to deliver appropriate support for children and young people.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the administration of EHCNAs and EHCPs.
• Manage annual reviews and other statutory SEND processes, ensuring compliance with SEND legislation and timescales.
• Liaise with schools, parents, health professionals and multi‑agency partners to secure appropriate support.
• Maintain accurate records, monitor caseloads and ensure deadlines are met.

Required profile

• Proven experience in SEND administration within a local authority or similar setting.
• Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice, EHCP procedures and statutory deadlines.
• Excellent organisational and case‑management abilities.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.
