Lead Site Reliability Engineer – SRE Squad Lead

About the role

As a Lead Site Reliability Engineer you will head an SRE squad, combining hands‑on technical work with people leadership to ensure critical digital platforms remain robust and performant.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Site Reliability Engineers, fostering an inclusive and high‑performing culture.
• Design, build and maintain cloud‑based infrastructure using infrastructure‑as‑code practices.
• Define and embed Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and error budgets.
• Drive observability initiatives, including monitoring, logging, metrics and alerting.
• Guide the development and continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines for safe, frequent releases.
• Collaborate with product, delivery and architecture teams to align platform services with business needs.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading engineering teams in a DevOps or SRE environment.
• Strong background in cloud platforms and infrastructure‑as‑code.
• Demonstrated ability to translate reliability concepts into practical engineering solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for mentoring diverse engineers.
