Lead Software Engineer - Full Stack (Java / React)

About the role

Join JPMorgan Chase’s Corporate Technology team as a Lead Software Engineer focused on full‑stack development. You will design and deliver cloud‑native applications that power wholesale credit risk workflows, leveraging Java, Spring Boot and React while integrating AI and machine learning capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, develop and maintain scalable full‑stack solutions using Java, Spring Boot and React.
• Lead the design of cloud‑native services ensuring high availability, performance and security.
• Integrate artificial intelligence and machine learning models to enhance risk analytics.
• Drive the end‑to‑end software development lifecycle, from design through production support.
• Collaborate with product managers, risk stakeholders and cross‑functional engineers to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Champion best practices such as code reviews, test‑driven development, CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the team’s technology strategy.

Required profile

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with extensive applied experience.
