Lead Software Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to design, develop and deliver cloud‑native applications for a global technology consultancy. This hands‑on leadership role combines strong engineering expertise with mentoring and driving best practices across diverse projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of modern, secure, and scalable software solutions.
• Write high‑quality, maintainable code and ensure performance, security, and accessibility standards.
• Mentor and develop engineers within the team, fostering technical growth.
• Drive engineering best practices, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and cloud‑native patterns.
• Collaborate closely with clients and cross‑functional teams to deliver successful outcomes.
• Contribute to technical strategy, architecture decisions, and community of practice.

Required profile

• Strong commercial experience with one or more languages such as Java, C#, Python or Go.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, Svelte).
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, AWS CDK, Pulumi).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, CircleCI, ArgoCD).
• Proven experience leading engineering teams and mentoring developers.
