Lead Worker & Lead Manager – Homelessness Outreach (Hillingdon)

About the role

We are recruiting experienced professionals to join an established homelessness outreach service in Hillingdon. Two parallel positions are available: a Lead Worker delivering direct support to people experiencing homelessness, and a Lead Manager who will lead the outreach team while also providing frontline assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with individuals experiencing homelessness through street outreach and build trusting relationships.
• Assess needs, develop personalised support plans and help clients access housing, benefits, healthcare and other essential services.
• Maintain accurate case records, produce regular reports and collaborate with partner agencies.
• For the Lead Manager role: supervise, coach and allocate workloads for outreach workers, monitor performance and ensure high standards of safeguarding and case management.
• Develop staff through supervision and training, and manage multi‑agency partnerships to improve service delivery.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in homelessness, housing support, outreach or community‑based services.
• Proven ability to work with adults who have complex needs and to coordinate multi‑agency interventions.
• For the managerial position: prior team leadership or management experience within a similar sector.
• A driving licence is preferred.
