Leadership Academy Facilitator – Training Specialist (15 roles)

About the role

The Metropolitan Police Service Leadership Academy is seeking experienced facilitators to deliver a six‑month leadership development programme for around 34,000 police officers and staff. The role is fully onsite in Central London, with training delivered at a dedicated venue and occasionally at other Met locations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality, classroom‑based leadership training to mixed groups of officers and civilian staff.
• Facilitate interactive sessions that encourage discussion, participation and collaboration.
• Maintain attendance records and support course evaluation activities.
• Collaborate with programme leads to ensure consistent delivery and alignment with organisational values.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering training, workshops or facilitated learning programmes.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Strong facilitation skills with the capacity to engage diverse audiences.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a delivery team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with PowerPoint and other training delivery tools.

What we offer

• Daily rate of £367 (umbrella) or £281.41 (PAYE).
• Fixed‑term contract for six months, Monday‑Friday 08:00‑16:00.
