Learning and Development Technologist

About the role
The Scottish Ambulance Service is seeking a Learning & Development Technologist on a 12‑month secondment to support its national digital learning function. The role will contribute to the delivery of Education & Professional Development Department programmes and help ensure sustainable digital learning across the service.
Key responsibilities
- Provide specialist support for Learner Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning platforms.
- Develop and maintain digital learning resources and e‑learning content.
- Manage learner data, produce reports and ensure data assurance.
- Support staff, students and external stakeholders in using digital learning tools.
- Assist with national education delivery and programme support, including priority workstreams such as Learning in Practice.
Required profile
- Experienced practitioner with knowledge of digital learning systems, data management and education delivery.
- Proven ability to analyse learner data and generate insightful reports.
- Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience supporting multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and deliver results.
