Learning & Development Coordinator

About the role

Our elite US law firm client seeks a Learning & Development Coordinator to support and drive learning initiatives for lawyers and business services professionals across its European and Asia‑Pacific offices. You will play a pivotal role in coordinating training programmes, ensuring compliance with professional education requirements, and delivering a seamless trainee orientation experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with coordination of training programmes and professional development initiatives for lawyers and business professionals in Europe and APAC.
• Support the organisation and implementation of the London Trainee Orientation Programme and Trainee Skills Development Programme.
• Manage programme logistics, including recruiting presenters, scheduling sessions, and coordinating room set‑up.
• Monitor and track SRA training records for trainee solicitors.
• Maintain Continuing Competence compliance records for England & Wales solicitors and registered foreign lawyers.
• Ensure compliance with continuing professional education requirements across regions.
• Collect and analyse feedback and data for firm‑wide conferences and regional programmes.

Required profile

• Experience in a Learning & Development or HR environment within a law firm.
• Proven ability to coordinate lawyer or business services training and professional development programmes.
• Experience working as part of a global team across time zones.
• Familiarity with global learning management systems.
• Knowledge of continuing professional education rules and procedures.
