Learning Facilitator – Plumbing

About the role

We are seeking a Learning Facilitator in Plumbing to join our award‑winning college in Leeds. You will work alongside lecturers to deliver hands‑on training to aspiring heating engineers, ensuring a safe and well‑maintained workshop environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support, supervision and instruction to small groups or individual students during practical sessions.
• Maintain and clean tools, equipment and workshop machinery in line with manufacturer and health‑and‑safety standards.
• Assist lecturers in preparing lesson materials and setting up practical activities.
• Demonstrate plumbing techniques and safety procedures as required.
• Monitor student progress and report any issues to teaching staff.

Required profile

• Qualified or working towards at least a Level 2 qualification in plumbing.
• Highly organised, reliable and proud of the quality of your work.
• Enthusiastic about inspiring the next generation of heating engineers.
• Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented, hands‑on teaching environment.

Required skills

• Plumbing installation and maintenance techniques.
• Health and safety compliance in workshop settings.
• Use and upkeep of workshop tools and machinery.
