About the role
Veritas Education is looking for enthusiastic Learning Mentors to join schools across the Bradford/West Yorkshire area. You will support children and young people, including those with autism, Aspergers, ADHD or behavioural needs, helping them engage with academic and practical learning.
Key responsibilities
- Assist teachers in delivering lessons across various age groups.
- Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group support for pupils with additional needs.
- Facilitate life‑skills and practical sessions alongside academic work.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
- Build strong relationships with learners, staff and parents.
Required profile
- Passion for supporting children and young people.
- Confident working with diverse classes and age ranges.
- Enthusiastic, hard‑working, energetic and reliable.
- Pro‑active attitude and willingness to get involved in all aspects of learning.
- Ability to develop meaningful relationships with learners and staff.
