Learning Operations Specialist – 6‑Month Contract

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Learning Operations Specialist to join a leading UK organisation on a six‑month contract. The role is hybrid, requiring a minimum of three days per week on site in Southampton, and focuses on supporting the Learning, Talent & Development team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day learning administration and learner records.
• Provide support for Workday Learning and other LMS platforms.
• Coordinate with external training providers, handling supplier relationships, purchase orders and invoice processing.
• Process learner requests, schedule courses and ensure smooth delivery of training programmes.
• Maintain learning budgets, report on mandatory training compliance and assist with apprenticeship administration.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Learning & Development administration or Learning Operations.
• Strong background working with Learning Management Systems.
• Experience managing training requests, course administration and supplier invoicing.
• Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
