Learning Resource Centre & Marketing Manager

About the role

Acorn by Synergie is seeking a dynamic Learning Resource Centre & Marketing Manager to combine digital marketing expertise with the day‑to‑day running of a vibrant Learning Resource Centre. You will promote the school’s achievements, engage students, parents and the community, and create an inspiring library environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update the organisation’s website, ensuring content is accurate and engaging.
• Plan, create and publish content across social media channels to boost brand awareness.
• Produce digital assets such as photography, video, newsletters and promotional material.
• Support marketing campaigns, open evenings, events and community initiatives.
• Monitor website and social media performance and recommend improvements.
• Manage the Learning Resource Centre – organise, stock and create a welcoming space.
• Coordinate reading initiatives, enrichment activities and student volunteer programmes.
• Assist with weekly homework sessions and build positive relationships with students, staff and families.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a marketing, digital marketing, communications or content creation role.
• Proven ability to manage websites and social media platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Creative mindset with keen attention to detail.
• Experience in a library or educational setting is advantageous but not essential.
