Learning Support Assistant – ARB (Full‑time, £100‑£120 per day)

About the role

The school is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to work within its Additional Resource Base (ARB) in Lambeth. Starting in September 2026, you will support pupils with complex additional needs, including autism and speech‑language difficulties, helping them access mainstream learning.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group learning activities throughout the school day.
• Promote communication, independence and emotional regulation for each pupil.
• Adapt resources to meet individual EHCP targets.
• Support pupils during integration into mainstream lessons where appropriate.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists and the SENCO to monitor progress.

Required profile

• Experience supporting pupils with autism or complex SEND.
• Understanding of routine, consistency and positive behaviour support.
• Patience, resilience and ability to build trusting relationships.
• Effective teamwork within a multidisciplinary environment.
• Passion for helping every child achieve their potential.
