Learning Support Assistant – Farnborough

About the role

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to work in a Farnborough school. You will provide one‑to‑one and small‑group assistance, helping pupils build confidence, stay engaged and reach their full potential. This role is ideal for anyone passionate about supporting young people in an inclusive classroom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 support and facilitate small‑group learning activities.
• Assist pupils during lessons, classroom routines and school activities.
• Help pupils remain focused, motivated and confident in their learning.
• Support teachers with classroom preparation and learning resources.
• Promote positive behaviour and effective learning habits.
• Build strong, supportive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment.
• Follow safeguarding policies and school procedures consistently.

Required profile

• Experience working with children or young people.
• Patient, supportive and approachable demeanor.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Adaptable to diverse pupil needs and reliable as a team member.
• Backgrounds in childcare, youth work, coaching or education are welcomed.
• Graduates seeking school experience are encouraged to apply.
