Learning Support Assistant – Flexible roles in Bristol

About the role
Join a supportive school environment in Bristol as a Learning Support Assistant. You will work directly with pupils who have additional needs, helping them access the curriculum and build confidence.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group support to children with SEND, SEMH, ASC, MLD, SLD and other needs.
- Assist teachers and SENCOs in delivering personalised learning activities.
- Create a calm, positive atmosphere that encourages independence.
- Monitor pupil progress and report observations to staff.
Required profile
- Experience working with children or vulnerable adults in any setting.
- Patient, caring and adaptable approach.
- Willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS check.
Required skills
- Ability to support diverse learning needs.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
