Learning Support Assistant – Full‑time (Sept 2026)

About the role

We are partnering with an Outstanding Ofsted‑rated school to recruit a Learning Support Assistant. The role starts in September 2026 and runs until the end of the academic year, providing one‑to‑one or small‑group support for 6‑8 pupils with special educational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver personalised learning activities for assigned pupils on a 1:1 or small‑group basis.
• Assist classroom teachers in adapting lessons and resources to meet individual needs.
• Monitor pupil progress and report observations to senior staff.
• Maintain a safe, supportive environment in line with safeguarding policies.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and external professionals as required.

Required profile

• Recent (within the last 3 years) experience in a child‑related or support role, preferably in education or care.
• Enthusiastic, optimistic attitude towards working with children and young adults with special needs.
• Commitment to a full‑time schedule, Monday‑Friday, 8:30 am‑4:00 pm.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
