Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive further education setting covering Northwich, Crewe and Winsford. This full‑time, permanent position focuses on helping learners with additional needs thrive in an inclusive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small‑group support to learners with SEND.
• Assist in the delivery and monitoring of EHCPs and individual learning plans.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and the SENCO to promote inclusion and progress.
• Help learners overcome barriers, building confidence and independence.

Required profile

• Experience supporting learners with additional needs (SEND).
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to engage, motivate and support young people.
• A Level 2 qualification (or relevant experience) in a related field.
