Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Primary Schools

About the role

We are recruiting enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to work in primary schools across South East England. In this role you will help students with diverse learning needs to access the curriculum, build confidence and develop social‑emotional skills.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support for pupils with additional needs, including SEND.
• Assist teachers with classroom activities, lesson delivery and behaviour management.
• Encourage student engagement, participation and positive wellbeing.
• Support the development of social and emotional skills through targeted activities.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents and support staff to create inclusive learning environments.

Required profile

• Positive, patient and caring attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build constructive relationships with young people.
• Willingness to obtain or hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
