About the role
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream secondary school in the London Borough of Havering. The role starts in September and is term‑time only, offering the chance to support students across the curriculum and help them achieve their full potential.
Key responsibilities
- Support students in the classroom under the direction of the class teacher.
- Assist with the delivery of learning activities across a range of subjects.
- Help students understand instructions, stay focused, and complete tasks.
- Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group support to reinforce learning.
- Promote positive behaviour and support classroom management.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a mainstream secondary school setting (desirable).
- Experience supporting students in a classroom environment (desirable).
- Good understanding of the secondary curriculum (desirable).
- Behaviour management experience or training (desirable).

- Competitive salary, £95‑£110 per day, dependent on experience.
