Learning Support Assistant – Post 16 SEN School

About the role

We are looking for a compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our Post‑16 SEN school in Greenwich. You will work closely with teachers and therapists to help pupils with ASD and ADHD access the curriculum, develop independence, and thrive in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support pupils with learning, communication and social development.
• Assist with classroom activities and tailored intervention programmes.
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
• Collaborate with teaching staff, therapists and other professionals.
• Provide personal care when required, ensuring dignity and safety.

Required profile

• Previous experience working with children or young people, preferably in a special school setting.
• Genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Comfortable delivering personal care and committed to safeguarding.
