About the role
Reeson Education is looking for a caring Learning Support Assistant to join a friendly primary school in Havering. The role involves supporting pupils with additional needs during term time, helping them engage with lessons and develop confidence.
Key responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small‑group support to pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH and other learning difficulties.
- Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities.
- Support pupils' behavioural and emotional needs.
- Promote active participation and independence in learning.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role.
- Understanding of SEN, including autism, ADHD or SEMH.
- Calm, patient and supportive attitude.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
