Learning Support Assistant – Primary Schools (East London)

About the role
Reeson Education is building a candidate pool for Learning Support Assistant positions across East London, focusing on the borough of Waltham Forest. You will work in welcoming, inclusive primary schools, providing one‑to‑one and small‑group support to help pupils reach their full potential.
Key responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 learning support to pupils with additional needs.
- Support small groups of children, reinforcing classroom instruction.
- Assist teachers and SENCOs with behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies.
- Work with children who have autism, ADHD, SEMH and communication challenges.
- Help create an inclusive, engaging learning environment.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role.
- Caring, patient and flexible attitude.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of behaviour support strategies.
- Genuine passion for helping children succeed.
