About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking a graduate Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming secondary school in Newham, East London. The role provides an excellent entry point for those passionate about education, psychology, counselling or youth work, offering hands‑on experience supporting pupils with special educational needs.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver one‑to‑one and small‑group support for students with SEN and behavioural needs.
- Assist pupils with ADHD, autism and dyslexia to improve engagement and academic progress.
- Collaborate closely with teachers and SEN staff to develop tailored strategies.
- Promote positive behaviour, wellbeing and a supportive learning environment.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree (any discipline) is essential.
