Learning Support Assistant – SEN (Full‑time)

About the role

Join a dedicated team at an SEN school where you will make a real difference to children with special educational needs. You will work in a supportive environment with excellent sensory spaces, helping pupils progress, enjoy learning and build confidence.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one and group support to SEN children, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Assist teaching staff with lesson delivery and adapt activities to meet individual needs.
• Develop creative approaches to enable each child to learn effectively.
• Encourage positive behaviour and help children feel confident and happy.

Required profile

• Experience as a Learning Support Assistant or Teaching Assistant in an SEN setting.
• Level 3 qualification or a graduate degree with at least six months of SEN experience.
• Passion for supporting children with special needs and a desire to make a difference.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff and create a nurturing environment.

Required skills

• No specific technical skills required.
