Learning Support Assistant – SEND (KS3‑KS4)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant to join an outstanding secondary school in Ealing. You will work with KS3‑KS4 students who have additional learning needs, supporting them to achieve their full potential in a vibrant, inclusive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tailored, in‑class support and targeted interventions for students with SEND.
• Collaborate with teachers and the SEN department to implement Personal Education Plans (PEPs).
• Foster an inclusive learning atmosphere that encourages engagement and progress.
• Monitor student development, keep accurate records, and give clear feedback to pupils and staff.
• Deliver engaging learning activities under teacher guidance.
• Organise and manage learning spaces and resources.
• Act as a role model, setting high expectations and promoting cooperative learning.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Learning Support Assistant, preferably with SEND students.
• Ability to work effectively with teachers, SEN staff, and small groups.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to accurate record‑keeping.
• Commitment to fostering independence and inclusion.
