About the role
Reed Further Education is seeking a compassionate and organised Programme Support Worker to join a college in Salford. You will support learners with SEND, providing classroom, pastoral and administrative assistance to help them achieve their personal and academic goals.
Key responsibilities
- Provide classroom and small‑group support to learners with SEND.
- Promote independence, engagement and confidence in learning.
- Support student wellbeing, pastoral needs and safeguarding.
- Assist with EHCP outcomes, progress monitoring and record keeping.
- Support daily campus operations, events and learner activities.
- Collaborate with teachers and programme staff to ensure positive learner outcomes.
Required profile
- Experience supporting young people or adults with SEND.
- Background in education, youth work or a similar support role.
- Strong communication and organisational abilities.
- Patient, resilient and passionate about learner success.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to undergo DBS and background checks.
