Learning Support Assistant – SEND Support (Primary Schools)

About the role

Reeson Education is seeking proactive and compassionate Learning Support Assistants to work on a daily supply and short‑term basis in primary schools across Haringey, North London. You will provide one‑to‑one support for pupils with SEND, helping them engage with classroom learning and develop independence.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to pupils with SEND, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and behavioural needs.
• Assist pupils with emotional regulation and behaviour management.
• Support classroom learning activities across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to implement individual education plans.
• Encourage pupil engagement, independence and confidence.

Required profile

• Adaptable, patient and confident when supporting diverse learning needs.
• Psychology graduates or candidates with prior SEN experience are encouraged to apply.
• Willingness to hold an Enhanced DBS on the update service or to obtain one through the agency.

• No specific technical skills are required for this role.
