About the role
Join a welcoming primary school in Southwark as a Learning Support Assistant. You will work closely with teachers to help pupils achieve their full potential, providing both group and one‑to‑one support in a supportive, inclusive environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support pupils with their learning and development during lessons.
- Assist the class teacher with classroom activities and lesson delivery.
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group guidance to reinforce learning.
- Help maintain a positive and safe learning atmosphere.
- Contribute to behaviour management strategies as needed.
Required profile
- Experience working with children or young people (preferred).
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Patient, supportive, and able to build positive relationships with pupils.
- Passion for education and a commitment to inclusive learning.
