About the role
Join a friendly specialist school in Chippenham as a Learning Support Assistant. You will work directly with pupils who have autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and other learning challenges, helping them thrive academically and socially.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one support to pupils throughout the school day.
- Facilitate small‑group activities that develop communication and life skills.
- Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management.
- Promote a positive, inclusive and fun learning environment.
- Support pupils’ emotional wellbeing and social interaction.
Required profile
- Previous experience working with children or adults with learning disabilities.
- Compassionate, patient, self‑motivated and resilient.
- Relevant degree (e.g., Psychology, Sociology, Criminology) or Level 3 childcare qualification is desirable.
Required skills
What we offer
- Daily rate of £90 – £100.
- Full‑time contractor position with immediate start.
