Learning Support Assistant – Support Students & Day Services

About the role
We are expanding our Learning Support Assistant team to welcome new students in September 2026. In this full‑time position you will motivate and inspire students, support a positive learning environment and contribute to our Day Services activities.
Key responsibilities
- Work alongside tutors to keep students motivated, happy and engaged in their learning and development.
- Support students’ transition from school to college and encourage independence.
- Assist with a range of tasks that create a supportive learning environment.
- Help organise and deliver activities for Day Services participants, ensuring choices are respected and outcomes are safe and enjoyable.
Required profile
- Experience working with people with learning difficulties.
- Knowledge of the education sector.
- Strong IT skills.

What we offer
- Salary £13.50 per hour (£20,414 per year, inclusive of holiday pay).
- 34.75 hours per week over 38 weeks (term‑time), Monday‑Friday schedule.
