Leasehold Asset Services Manager

About the role

The Leasehold Asset Services Manager will provide short‑term, secondment coverage for a key operational role within Riverside's Homeownership Asset Strategy & Delivery team. This 6‑month fixed‑term position ensures continuity of planned and reactive repair services for homeownership customers, balancing cost, quality and timeliness.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of repair and maintenance works through external contractors.
• Ensure all works comply with lease requirements, statutory legislation and building regulations.
• Manage service‑charge governance and customer‑focused communication.
• Produce clear, structured reports for senior leadership, including Board level.
• Support the Asset Management Strategy by monitoring cost, quality and schedule performance.

Required profile

• Experience in the building industry, preferably within the leasehold sector.
• Relevant building qualification such as a Higher National Certificate in Building or equivalent.
• Good understanding of statutory leasehold legislation and building regulations.
• Ability to interpret leasehold legal terminology.
