Lecturer in Beauty Therapy (Part‑time)

About the role
Chichester College Group is seeking an experienced beauty therapy professional to join its Crawley campus as a part‑time Lecturer. You will inspire and guide students pursuing careers as beauty therapists, nail technicians or make‑up artists, delivering high‑quality teaching and assessment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver teaching sessions and practical workshops in beauty therapy.
- Prepare learning materials, set assignments and mark assessments promptly.
- Maintain accurate student records and produce regular reports.
- Contribute to curriculum development, ensuring inclusion of literacy, numeracy and diversity considerations.
- Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and stay informed of sector policies.
Required profile
- Relevant Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in beauty therapy or a related field.
- Significant industry experience in beauty therapy, nail work or make‑up.
- Ability to meet deadlines, manage time effectively and work collaboratively.
- Commitment to obtaining a recognised teaching qualification as defined by the Corporation.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
What we offer
- Competitive pro‑rated salary ranging from £27,785 to £43,325 per year.
- Crawley weighting allowance (£494.66 for 30 h/week or £370.99 for 22.5 h/week).
- Permanent part‑time contract with opportunities for professional development.
