About the role

The Lecturer in Business will support the delivery and continuous development of high‑quality teaching and learning at Fairfield School of Business. The role involves planning, delivering and evaluating innovative teaching that enhances student engagement, achievement and progression.

Key responsibilities

Deliver high standards of teaching and learning in line with examination requirements.
Monitor assessment processes and ensure timely marking of assignments.
Produce schemes of work, lesson plans, assessment plans and learning materials.
Identify individual student needs and act as a Personal Tutor.
Attend departmental meetings and maintain accurate records of formative and summative assessments.
Share and embed good practice and resources across the team.

Required profile

Ability to plan, deliver and evaluate teaching effectively.
Collaborative approach to working with teaching and support staff.
Commitment to service planning, delivery, monitoring and continuous improvement.
Willingness to engage in staff development and training opportunities.
