Lecturer in Motorsport Engineering

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Motorsport Engineering professional to join our teaching team across the Chippenham and Castle Combe campuses. You will deliver undergraduate modules in a unique environment that combines state‑of‑the‑art engineering facilities with direct access to the iconic Castle Combe Race Circuit.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver lectures, labs and workshops covering race vehicle preparation, vehicle dynamics and performance engineering.
• Supervise student projects that involve diagnostics, fabrication and the use of motorsport technologies.
• Develop assessment materials and provide constructive feedback to support student progression.
• Maintain and enhance links with industry partners to ensure curriculum relevance.

Required profile

• Relevant degree or professional experience in Motorsport Engineering or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts to learners of varying backgrounds.
• Enthusiasm for mentoring the next generation of engineers.
