Lecturer in Travel and Tourism (Part‑time)

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time Further Education Lecturer and Programme Leader in Travel and Tourism to join our team in Bangor. You will deliver high‑quality NCFE Level 2 and Level 3 courses and facilitate the Welsh Baccalaureate, creating engaging learning experiences for all students.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver NCFE Level 2 and Level 3 Travel and Tourism curricula.
• Facilitate the Welsh Baccalaureate component within the programme.
• Prepare and deliver engaging lectures and practical sessions.
• Manage administration, assessment and quality‑assurance processes.
• Apply industry experience to enrich teaching and learning.

• Enthusiastic and dynamic individual with recent travel industry experience.
• Commitment to high‑quality teaching and learner achievement.
• Ability to work collaboratively with management and support staff.

Required skills

What we offer

• Salary range £27,239 – £42,106 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience.
• 46 days annual leave including public holidays and up to 5 efficiency‑closure days.
• 30‑hour per week contract (19‑21 teaching hours weekly) on a part‑time permanent basis.
• Up to 4 hours per week of off‑site work by agreement.
