Lecturer & Programme Lead – Electrical Installation

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Lecturer & Programme Lead for Electrical Installation at Sunderland College. The role combines teaching practical and theoretical electrical installation modules with leading the curriculum area, ensuring learners achieve their full potential.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Electrical Installation programmes, both practical workshops and classroom theory.
• Monitor and assess learner progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Plan, prepare and deliver lesson plans that align with industry standards.
• Support curriculum development and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with employers and industry partners to enhance learning opportunities.
• Promote an outstanding learner experience and maintain high standards of health and safety.

Required profile

• Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation.
• Significant industry experience as a qualified electrician.
• Level 2 Maths and English.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for developing future talent.
• Teaching experience is welcomed but not essential.
