Lecturer (Supported Internship) – Full‑time

About the role

Northumberland Skills Service is looking for a full‑time Lecturer (Supported Internship) to join the Alnwick Campus. The role involves delivering high‑quality teaching, using innovative e‑learning methods, and supporting learners to achieve their personal and professional goals.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging lessons, incorporating e‑learning tools.
• Provide personalised learning support and adjust teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
• Implement assessment procedures, reviewing both formative and summative progress.
• Conduct regular progress reviews with learners and, where appropriate, with employers.
• Prepare learners for examinations and assessments.
• Support internal and external quality assurance processes, including standardisation meetings.

Required profile

• Experience in teaching or adult education, preferably in a supported‑internship context.
• Ability to create inclusive learning environments and adapt materials for diverse learners.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to learner success.

• Salary Band 7: £30,550 – £33,776 per year (pro‑rated for term time).
