LED Technical Operations Manager (Events)

About the role

Join a market‑leading specialist in LED display solutions as the LED Technical Operations Manager for events. You will own the technical delivery of high‑profile live sport, broadcast, corporate and entertainment projects across the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, test, configure and commission indoor and outdoor LED display systems.
• Install, calibrate and maintain LED cabinets, processors, controllers and video distribution equipment.
• Diagnose and repair LED cabinets, receiving cards, power systems and related hardware.
• Optimise image quality through colour calibration and brightness control.
• Produce technical documentation, installation records and system drawings.
• Lead load‑in, live operation and de‑rig of LED systems for sporting events, broadcasts and corporate productions.
• Support project managers with technical planning, site surveys and permanent installations.
• Carry out preventative maintenance, service visits and provide technical training to clients.
• Supervise technicians, freelancers and subcontractors on deployment sites.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an LED Technical Operations Manager or similar role in events.
• Hands‑on technical delivery background with project support and team leadership.
• Strong client‑facing skills and ability to work under pressure during live events.
