Legal Apprenticeship Coach (Full‑time, Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Legal Apprenticeship Coach to join Datalaw’s online training team. Working remotely, you will support 40‑50 learners on the Paralegal apprenticeship, guiding them through a structured curriculum and ensuring successful completion of their End‑Point Assessment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of 40‑50 apprentices, delivering monthly learning sessions across various areas of law.
• Cover apprenticeship fundamentals such as safeguarding, British values, health and safety, and monitor learner wellbeing.
• Conduct progress reviews, set individualized objectives, and address any issues with learners and employers.
• Record on‑the‑job learning (OTJ) logs and document how learners apply new skills in their daily roles.
• Facilitate new learner inductions each month and liaise with the onboarding team.
• Provide feedback on portfolio completion to support final EPA assessments.
• Maintain documentation to meet ESFA and Ofsted requirements, including reporting attendance and punctuality.
• Communicate regularly with line manager and delivery team to review caseload and ensure progression.

Required profile

• Experience delivering apprenticeships or teaching within the legal sector.
• Level 6 qualification in Law or Legal Services (or equivalent).
• Level 3 or higher teaching qualification.
• Good knowledge of apprenticeship funding regulations.
• Strong organisational skills to coordinate training plans and monitor progress.

Required skills

• Understanding of legal concepts and paralegal duties.
• Familiarity with ESFA and Ofsted compliance reporting.
