Legal Compliance Manager

About the role

We are a forward‑thinking, technology‑driven legal firm seeking a Legal Compliance Manager to strengthen our compliance function. You will work closely with legal and operational teams to ensure regulatory compliance and manage risk across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day compliance and risk‑management activities.
• Assist with AML processes, including customer due diligence, source‑of‑funds checks and risk assessments.
• Maintain and improve compliance policies and procedures.
• Review matters, identify risks and support escalation where required.
• Contribute to system and process improvements to enhance efficiency and consistency.

Required profile

• Experience in legal compliance within conveyancing or property law.
• Strong knowledge of AML regulations, POCA and CLC or SRA frameworks.
• Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer.
• Practical experience handling AML and risk processes.

Required skills

• In‑depth understanding of AML regulations and related risk‑assessment methodologies.
• Familiarity with POCA, CLC and SRA compliance requirements.
• Ability to develop and improve compliance policies and procedures.
