Les Mills Body Balance Instructor – Eastbourne

About the role

GLL is seeking enthusiastic Les Mills Body Balance instructors to join the team at The Sovereign Centre in Eastbourne. The role involves delivering dynamic group fitness classes that blend yoga, Pilates, tai chi and cardio, catering to a diverse clientele. You will be expected to create a motivating environment that balances performance‑driven sessions with fun, music‑filled workouts.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective Body Balance classes for all ages and abilities.
• Lead both performance‑driven and freestyle sessions, creating an energetic, fun atmosphere.
• Adapt, progress and regress exercises to meet individual goals.
• Maintain class safety by monitoring participants and ensuring proper technique.
• Provide constructive feedback and progression plans for attendees.
• Motivate participants, ensuring customer expectations are exceeded.
• Promote GLL services and encourage member retention.

Required profile

• Les Mills Body Balance qualification (essential).
• Level 2 Fitness Instructor or equivalent experience teaching to music.
• Strong communication and customer‑service focus.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards and ability to work as part of a team.
