Lettings Branch Manager – New Portsmouth Office

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Lettings Branch Manager to lead the launch of a brand‑new lettings office in Portsmouth. You will join the business in September/October 2026 for a comprehensive training programme, then spearhead the opening in January 2027 and drive its growth.

Key responsibilities

• Launch and develop a new lettings branch, ensuring long‑term profitability.
• Conduct market appraisals and win new lettings instructions.
• Grow the managed portfolio through business development, networking and local canvassing.
• Build and maintain relationships with landlords, tenants and local businesses.
• Lead, motivate and mentor a Lettings Negotiator, fostering a high‑performing team culture.
• Negotiate tenancy agreements and oversee the lettings process from instruction to completion.
• Maintain full compliance with lettings legislation and industry best practice.
• Utilise Expert Agent CRM to manage applicants, landlords, reporting and branch performance.

Required profile

• Proven residential lettings experience, ideally as a Senior Lettings Negotiator, Valuer or Branch Manager.
• Demonstrated success in market appraisals and winning new business.
• Strong commercial awareness and a passion for growing a business.
• Experience leading and developing a small team.
