Lettings Manager (Cobham)

About the role

John D Wood is seeking a Lettings Manager for its Cobham office. You will play a key part in driving lettings business, building relationships with landlords and tenants, and ensuring high‑quality service across the branch.

Key responsibilities

• Identify business opportunities and generate self‑sourced appointments.
• Meet or exceed branch targets for property appraisals, instructions, lets and related KPIs.
• Conduct market appraisals and secure instructions at the company’s conversion rate.
• Arrange, organise and conduct viewings, and manage the letting process through to move‑in.
• Maintain an accurate applicant database and regular communication with landlords and applicants.
• Assist with business generation and perform various ad‑hoc administrative duties.
• Collaborate across departments and refer business where appropriate.

Required profile

• Excellent organisational, prioritisation and communication skills.
• Professional, positive, ambitious and customer‑focused attitude.
• Strong desire to meet and exceed targets with a ‘can‑do’ mindset.
• High accuracy, attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence and competence in arithmetic and English.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency in MS Word.
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel.
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Outlook.
