Lettings Manager – Lead Honiton Office

About the role

Our client, a respected independent estate agency in East Devon, is seeking an experienced Lettings Manager to lead the Honiton office. You will head the lettings department, drive business development and ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market appraisals and win new lettings instructions
• Manage and grow the existing lettings portfolio
• Create and market new property listings
• Negotiate tenancy agreements and offers
• Support aspects of the property management process
• Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords and tenants
• Lead, motivate and develop the lettings team
• Ensure smooth day‑to‑day running of the department
• Identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the lettings process

Required profile

• Minimum three years’ experience in residential lettings
• Previous senior lettings or management experience (advantageous)
• Strong business development and relationship‑building abilities
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Proactive, motivated and customer‑focused attitude
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

Required skills

• Proficient with CRM systems and general IT software

• £30,000‑£32,000 basic salary with OTE £38,000‑£40,000
