Lettings Manager – Residential Lettings

About the role

An experienced Lettings Manager is needed to lead a successful independent estate agency in Herne Hill. The role combines team leadership, business development and compliance within residential lettings.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop the lettings team to meet and exceed performance targets.
• Drive new business generation, increase market share and secure lettings instructions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants and local businesses.
• Conduct market appraisals and provide expert advice on rental values and legislation.
• Ensure all lettings processes comply with current legislation and industry best practice, including recent renters' rights reforms.
• Monitor team performance, report on KPIs and uphold exceptional customer service standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Lettings Manager or Senior Lettings Negotiator ready to step into management.
• Track record of winning new business and delivering strong lettings results.
• ARLA qualification or working towards ARLA (highly desirable).
• Strong leadership, coaching and people‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
