Lettings Negotiator – Cambridge

About the role

Join a market‑leading estate agency in Cambridge as a Lettings Negotiator. You will be at the heart of the lettings department, matching tenants with suitable properties and supporting the agency’s continued growth.

Key responsibilities

• Register and qualify prospective tenants.
• Conduct property viewings and provide detailed feedback to landlords.
• Negotiate tenancy terms between landlords and tenants.
• Proactively generate new business opportunities and secure landlord instructions.
• Maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants and colleagues.
• Stay up‑to‑date with local market trends and competitor activity.
• Ensure compliance with lettings legislation and company procedures.
• Manage administrative duties related to lettings transactions.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a lettings or estate agency role (preferred).
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Target‑driven, proactive and positive attitude.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Local knowledge of the Cambridge property market (advantageous).
