Lettings Negotiator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Lettings Negotiator to join our busy residential lettings team in Ashford, Kent. You will support the marketing of rental properties, register applicants and build strong relationships with landlords and tenants while developing your career in residential lettings.

Key responsibilities

• Register applicants, understand their requirements and match them with suitable rental properties.
• Arrange and conduct property viewings, delivering a professional customer experience.
• Negotiate offers between landlords and tenants to achieve successful lets.
• Support the marketing of rental properties and generate new landlord instructions.
• Maintain regular communication with applicants, landlords and contractors throughout the lettings process.
• Assist with tenancy progression, administration and ensure a smooth customer journey.

Required profile

• Previous experience in sales, lettings or a customer‑facing role.
• Confident communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
• Professional telephone manner and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Motivated, proactive and keen to develop a career within residential lettings.
