Lettings Negotiator

About the role

The Lettings Negotiator will join a leading property firm in Hertfordshire, supporting both landlords and tenants throughout the rental process. You will be responsible for managing enquiries, arranging viewings and negotiating tenancy agreements in a fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to telephone and email enquiries from prospective tenants and landlords.
• Register, qualify and match applicants with suitable properties.
• Schedule and conduct property viewings, showcasing each home effectively.
• Negotiate tenancy applications, ensuring mutually satisfactory terms.
• Provide landlords with timely feedback and market updates.
• Prepare accurate property descriptions and capture high‑quality photographs for listings.
• Collaborate with the Branch Manager and coordinate with administration and property‑management teams.
• Monitor local lettings market trends and competitor activity.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Lettings Negotiator with a successful track record.
• Excellent communication, listening and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Valid driving licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency with estate agency software packages.
